Our Sister School program at Sycamore hosts an annual Holiday Drive for King Elementary in Richmond.  Kings’ Principal, staff and students truly appreciate this program.

Thank you so much for supporting King Elementary!
The Sister School Program is a district-wide, PTA-sponsored program that began in 1994 as Cross County Books/Clothes. Currently, the majority of San Ramon Valley Unified District (SRVUSD) schools participate in the program. These schools are partnered with schools located in Richmond, San Pablo, Antioch, Pittsburg, Concord and Oakland. Each participating school/PTA unit in the SRVUSD has a Sister School Representative coordinating the program.

Mission Statement

The Sister School philanthropic program benefits the students of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) by fostering civic responsibility, enhancing community engagement, promoting volunteerism, and by teaching the joy of helping others in need.

This goal is accomplished by partnering each school in the SRVUSD with a partner school in a neighboring disadvantaged area of the East Bay. Through collaborative determination of need, schools in the SRVUSD conduct a minimum of two drives and/or fundraisers per year for items that benefit the children of their sister schools.
